“Preferred vendor” is what we call venues or other wedding vendors that have their go-to list of people to work with. They’re either partners or have a strong past relationship, so they vouch for their services.
What questions should I ask my venue about preferred vendors?
Am I allowed to go with a vendor not on this list? If they say yes, ask if there are any extra fees for using a new vendor. I’ve seen fees range from $100 to $300, and some places don’t charge anything extra, you just bring someone else in. If they say no, then that list becomes the only options. That means you have to choose from those people for your wedding. Find the ones you really like because they’ll be the ones taking care of everything. So don’t just pick anyone randomly from the list, do your research and make sure you love what they do.
